DECEPTION

A night of
Woven stories of unchained melodies,

Lubricated with the molten thoughts
And photogenic engrams
A Wizard came to own the World!!

Endless babbles and simple laughter
Unforgiven thoughts and healed touched
Youth recovered, smile shared.

Cold whispers, agonizing tears,
Evanescent pains and a ray from within
The Wizard set them free.

Emotions flickered, truth revitalized...
Untrue lightening of a new beginning.

Dreams broken, trust shaken,
The Maven eluded from the "Land of Abundance"
"Promises are meant to be broken", he said
And vaporised in the shadows of long lost past.

The game is over, story is shredded
All in silence moved in the necropolis
That once the Wizard had awaken
An era of sweet nothings ended...!!!

The magic of the soul,

The hopes of the heart,

Deep down inside where, emotions start.

Spring came with thousands flowers
Setting the birds free to fly high in the Never Never Land

REMINISCE

Smoke circles in the air
from a cigarette left laying there

There is a tear
caught between-holding on-letting go

And the rain
it dances on the windowpane
Thunder echoes
like the slamming of the door-a clinched fist
Lightning flashes
reflections off a shattered mirror
Showing all-you fight to deny
cut lip-bruises-black eye
That whispered-inner voice
screaming-I told you so
And so and so
it comes and goes
Moments like this
fading now-already somehow
Like it never really happened again
until the next time...

...And the rain
it dances on the windowpane...

BUT IT RAINED

I thought I had forgotten,
But it all came back again
To-night with the first spring thunder
In a rush of rain.

I remembered a darkened doorway
Where we stood while the storm swept by,
Thunder gripping the earth
And lightning scrawled on the sky.

The passing motor buses swayed,
For the street was a river of rain,
Lashed into little golden waves
In the lamp light's stain.

With the wild spring rain and thunder
My heart was wild and gay;
Your eyes said more to me that night
Than your lips would ever say. . . .

I thought I had forgotten,
But it all came back again
To-night with the first spring thunder
In a rush of rain.

ALAS..!!ONEIRIC

Depressions in the east
Returning Monsoons,
Another autumn dishevelled in the rains.

Yet a splash of red avers on the patch-
of gloomy sky
i'm alloted from my little window ply

I see a speck of vermillion, naked eyes forbear
I'm sure I still see it there
Every hint of vermillion,
two birds soaring in that sky,
the conifers holding up the sky,
remind me, remind me of you

Three rainy autumns back,
on a golden day between the rains
a destined day in october,
an uneventful normal day
You happened to me

The way we met across a glance
what else in life they call a chance
Then the days of holy engagements
all truly vague arrangements

Alone alone I'm all alone
nowadays I live alone
Crumbled and crushed I lay awake
across the dust of mine self I've broke

Call me from your pain
across these sounds of rain
Colour my opening eyes
with vermillion-
from between your brows
